Assisted inside and outside sales team with technical issues. Also performed some professional services for products.
Wrote competitive analyses for use by technical and non-technical sales people, as well as partners. Created and gave presentations from a technical and sales perspective on products, including basic concepts to help understand the depth of the product line.
Set up and maintained local demo lab, as well as a portable demo lab to ship from partner to partner. The labs contained the software and hardware needed to demonstrate all of the company's products, including all of the operating systems supported.

Using EDS' trouble ticketing system, solved users' technical issues, while rigorously maintaining the service level agreement in place with Travelocity's parent company, Sabre. Lead technical contact for projects integrating the Travelocity site further into the Sabre network as a whole.

Senior Macintosh Systems Administrator
MIS site manager for San Francisco office. Supervised 3 person IT team and set policy for setup of Windows 2000 servers and workstations, including local File, Print, DNS, DHCP, WINS, IAS, VPN and Squid proxy services. Also managed help desk and support operations.
Sole Macintosh desktop and server support representative for entire company. Dedicated desktop and server support representative for 35 node Multimedia team, covering Mac, Windows and UNIX. Set up and maintain Network Appliance 840, AppleShare IP 6.3, OS X Server 10.1, Windows 2000, FileMaker Pro 5.0, Extensis Portfolio 6 and Quantum SNAP! servers. Also in charge of hardware and software budgeting and purchasing for entire Product Marketing team.
Planned, implemented and supervised move of server equipment and data for 200 user San Francisco office. Made sure that all San Francisco user-shared resources were up and running within two days. Assisted network administrators in inventory and planning of network hardware. Quoted and implemented rewiring of server room patch panels for Cat 5e in new location.
Planned, implemented and supervised migration of all servers in San Francisco office from multiple NT 4.0 and NetWare domains into one integrated Windows 2000 domain. Divided serving services and workload between multiple Windows 2000 boxes, including file, printing, terminal and SFM services.
System Administrator in charge of desktop and server backup for San Francisco office. Reorganized Retrospect Server 5.6 backups for more efficient tape, network and CPU usage. System Administrator in charge of Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition 7.6 deployment and administration. Researched pricing, created volume licensing quote and ran installs for San Francisco office. Created online HTML documentation for the antivirus administrators at each location.
